ecVision aids brand companies in managing relationships with product suppliers, raw material vendors, product-testing and social-compliance audit firms, and global logistics companies. The ecVision suite focuses on four primary business areas, covering the management of vendors and production, materials and products, risk and quality, and shipment and logistics. The company is headquartered in Hong Kong, with operations in China and the U.S. Amber Road chief executive officer Jim Preuninger said the acquisition will provide his customers with “new global supply chain capabilities to increase product innovation while balancing product compliance risks and costs with shorter product lead times.” Under the deal, Amber Road acquires ecVision for a net cash amount of approximately $24m, as well as up to $9m over the next two years, with an earn-out provision based on the achievement of set revenue milestones and employee retention.
