TradeBeam has released version 3.5 of GTM, its software for global trade and supply chain management. The update includes expanded language support for global trade content, enhanced Automated Export System (AES) functionality and other auditing features. GTM 3.5 offers additional language support for restricted party screening (RPS), with improved matching capabilities under Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act, including provisions for sales to foreign nationals and subsidiaries. Specifically, the vendor is providing enhanced Western European language handling for precise translation, allowing for the straightforward matching of words using accent marks in restricted party lists. GTM 3.5 accommodates other languages as well, including those requiring double-byte. Additional features include detailed auditing and document archival capabilities, such as historical product information for reporting and auditing. A product catalog audit-trail tool automatically assigns incremented version numbers to new product versions and messaging. Users can view complete historical information, including the date of all changes and the identify of their authors. Current and historical data can be exported to Microsoft Excel for further analysis, enabling increased business intelligence while streamlining the process for supply-chain managers, TradeBeam says.
