ecVision Creates Online Community for Retailers, Manufacturers, Suppliers

ecVision, a provider of technology for trading-partner collaboration, has created a series of social networking and educational portals to link retailers, manufacturers, suppliers and service providers. On Twitter, the company has established "Tuesday Tweets," to provide regular updates about issues facing the retail industry. The address is twitter.com/#!ecVision_US. A new ecVision blog, called Retail Supply Chain Solutions, is being hosted at www.retailsupplychainsolutions.blogspot.com. In addition, "My Resource Library" is now available on ecVision.com. The new capabilities provide a personalized storage area for registered visitors. A history of all previous downloads from the site is maintained in the private area. Returning users can access a collection of white papers, videos and case studies by logging into their private areas. ecVision is also offering access through major media outlets. Its exclusive area on Apparel Magazine's site (www.apparelmag.com) gives visitors access to podcasts and white papers. Finally, ecVision has created a new Specialist Channel at www.supplychainbrain.com, offering a resource for information on supply-chain management, including articles, blog, webinars, newsletters and videocasts.
