Aramex Inks Joint Venture With Chinese Logistics Service Provider
Aramex International, a global provider of logistics and transportation services, has launched a joint venture company with a China-based counterpart. The company is cooperating with Sinotrans Air Transportation Development Co., Ltd., a vendor of freight forwarding, international and domestic express, cargo transportation and logistics services in China. According to Aramex, the venture will allow customers in China to access a variety of services, including international express, air, and sea freight; logistics and warehousing; brokerage and clearance. In the second phase of the relationship, Aramex Sinoair will open additional offices in Beijing and Guangzhou, with further expansion planned in other major cities. Aramex is a publicly traded company on the Dubai Financial Market. It employs more than 9,000 people in 313 locations across 56 countries.
