Airclic Develops New Version of Mobile Software for Food Distributors

The latest update offers "quick-turn" functionality, boosting driver efficiency. Drivers who deliver multiple local routes in the same day can better reconcile deliveries, record deliveries or pickups at each stop, and reconcile returns before reloading and departing on their next route. In the process, Airclic said, food distributors can receive the full benefit of the Food Perform's chain-of-custody tracking capabilities. Other enhancements to Food Perform include exception handling for individual items on a pallet, without breaking the pallet; viewing of weight and cube for a stop and route; support for variable barcode lengths; control over driver performance reports, and enhanced security of integration and Web services.
