Using hidden tracking devices, FreightWatch monitors cargo movements and alerts law-enforcement agencies when theft occurs. Chubb will waive up to $10,000 in cargo-insurance deductibles when merchandise is stolen while being monitored by FreightWatch, provided the goods are not recovered within 30 days of law-enforcement authorities being notified. Member insurers of the Chubb Group provide property and casualty insurance for personal and commercial customers through 8,500 independent agents and brokers worldwide.
