The route offers transit times of 13 days to Tokyo, 14 days to Yokohama and 18 days to Osaka, Nagoya and Kobe. It entails weekly service and fixed-day cutoffs, with no transshipment via Busan, South Korea. CaroTrans has served the U.S.-Japan trade region for more than 13 years, partnering with the Japanese NVO Seino Logix. Over the past six months, CaroTrans has added five direct LCL and full-containerload (FCL) import and export services to its global network, including Houston and New York export to Cartagena, Colombia; Miami export to Itajai, Brazil; Charleston, S.C. export to South Africa, and Los Angeles import and export to Vietnam.
