Accellos Issues New Mobile Apps for Smartphones and Tablets

Designed to run on Windows 8, they provide real-time access to critical supply-chain information, the vendor said. Initial apps were designed to take advantage of Windows 8 features such as Snap, Search, Semantic Zoom, Share, multi-touch and personalization. The first release of AccellosOne Mobile consists of Accellos One Inspection and Pulse. Inspection helps supply-chain managers to implement inspection surveys for manufacturing, warehousing or transportation. Pulse is the supply-chain intelligence component of the AccellosOne suite. It provides real-time metrics and key performance indicators. Both applications will be available directly from Accellos as side-loaded Windows Store apps.
