CaroTrans Initiates Four LCL Services From China to Chile

Origin points include Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. CaroTrans' local offices are providing consolidation and deconsolidation services. CaroTrans set up a wholly owned and operated office in Santiago, Chile in 2011. In China, it offers service and support from seven local offices, in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Xiamen. In addition to the four new China import services, CaroTrans offers a range of LCL and full-containerload services to and from China and the company's U.S. service network. CaroTrans has seen its Chile-U.S. import and export transactions grow by 10 percent over the past year, the company said.
