Ordoro, Bigcommerce Partner to Offer Drop-Shipping to eTailers

Bigcommerce is an e-commerce platform. Their joint offering, called MakeShipHappen.com, allows for the transmittal of customer orders to a retailer's supplier partner, who then ships the order directly to the customer. It eliminates the cost of maintaining physical inventory, as well as extending retailers' product offerings. The partnership combines Bigcommerce's platform, storefront design, search-engine optimization, marketing tools and customizable product listings with Ordoro's drop-shipping, shipping and inventory-management capabilities. MakeShipHappen.com is a website aimed at helping customers to get started with drop-shipping. Bigcommerce customers can access a special Ordoro starter plan for $9 per month. In addition to drop-shipping, Ordoro provides merchants with a Web-based application which helps to streamline back-office functions, including batch shipping, label creation and printing, and inventory management between multiple online storefronts.
