Lufthansa Cargo Reorganizes Charter Operation; Partners With Chapman Freeborn

The chartering of Lufthansa Cargo's own cargo aircraft for special transports will remain part of the core business. Contact partners for customers will be available at Lufthansa Cargo sales offices around the world. Dedicated competence centers will support specific customers operating in areas such as high-value freight. According to Lufthansa Cargo, the new setup will help it to address the requirements of complex charter transports on a more individual basis. In addition, Lufthansa Cargo is cooperating with charter broker Chapman Freeborn to strengthen the marketing of aircraft capacity available on short notice.
