Demand Management Issues Supply-Chain Planning Platform in the Cloud

The cloud-based release features the same functionality as Demand Management's on-premise platform, but is hosted remotely and available on a subscription basis. The technology allows companies to get up and running on the platform quickly, the vendor said. Demand Management is hosting the new version on the Windows Azure cloud platform. It now offers three configurations of the Demand Solutions supply-chain planning suite, which includes forecast management, demand planning, collaborative forecasting, inventory planning, advanced planning and scheduling, sales and operations planning and point-of-sale analysis.
