DHL Expands Global Hub at Cincinnati/Kentucky Airport

The company has spent four years and $105m to enhance the operation to meet growing demand for international shipping services. Improvements include a new, 180,000-square-foot sorting facility designed for larger express shipments, an expanded south ramp for additional widebody aircraft, an employee and pilot building, and an upgrade of the site's information-technology system. DHL's U.S. network links customers from more than 220 countries. The company also maintains global hubs in Hong Kong and Germany. Other recent developments at the company include the launch of new direct flights between CVG and Japan, and increased capacity into Australia.
