APL Logistics Opens Brokerage Office in Laredo, Texas

The new facility will provide better connectivity between the U.S. and Mexico, the company said. The office is providing a full range of customs brokerage and trade services. It can handle all commodities, with a focus on automotive, apparel, textiles and electronics. It also supports import and export-management services through the ports of Hidalgo/Pharr, Progreso, Brownsville, Eagle Pass and Del Rio, as well as other assigned ports within the customs district. Rosalinda Saenz is heading up operations at the new location. APL acquired Carmichael in 2012. It now operates 11 customs brokerage offices in the U.S.
