Elements include aspenONE Process Explorer, to improve visualization and analysis of plant-operations data; PIMS Platinum, to compare refinery plans and schedules side by side; and Petroleum Scheduler, to integrate refinery and dock scheduling. Process Explorer translates data collected by Aspen InfoPlus.21. PIMS Platinum features a Web-based flowsheet environment, allowing users to run multiple planning scenarios. Petroleum Scheduler looks to minimize losses from demurrage, re-blending and product downgrades. Version 8.5 is available immediately. Qualified aspenONE customers can upgrade at no additional cost, AspenTech said.
