Oracle Unveils Project Procurement and Management App

The tool was designed to help teams eliminate silos around project management and procurement through the setting of strategic objectives. The result, said Oracle, is optimized procurement planning and execution throughout the lifecycle of a project. The app allows project teams to share information on project requirements and schedules, product specifications, budgets and quality standards. Oracle Project Procurement features an in-memory visualization layer which draws on Oracle Endeca Information Discovery. It integrates with Oracle E-Business Suite Project Portfolio Management and E-Business Suite Advanced Procurement, to give businesses access to the data needed to manage the entire project-procurement process.
