DTI was previously known as Drug Transport, Inc. It was founded in 1959 to provide critical shipments to hospitals, nursing homes and clinics throughout the South. DTI evolved into an LTL carrier, truckload carrier and broker operation serving a diverse range of industries. The truckload and broker operations continue under DTI ownership. Central Freight Lines operates 55 terminals throughout the Southwest, Midwest and Southeast, covering 15 states from Georgia to California.
