Aljex Debuts Event Manager App for Shipment Management

Event Manager flags problem shipments in hot pink. It includes the reason for the flag along with contact information, and pulls in e-mail addresses for all relevant parties, including dispatcher, shipper, consignee, driver, and agent representative. All receive a notifying e-mail when the event is saved. The event screen pops up any time the applicable shipment is accessed within the system, until the event is cleared. Aljex Software is a vendor of hosted transportation-management systems for brokers, carriers and other transportation providers.
