SmartDrive Debuts Video Program for Trucking Safety

It is a video-based safety program that can be tuned to the risk priorities and specific fleet-operating environments of the user. It employs a range of camera, integration and program-configuration options. The road-facing video safety program can be upgraded to include a cab view, as well as integration with additional cameras to provide a 360-degree view of the vehicle. The new line consists of SmartDrive Assurance Pro, with interior and road-facing cameras as well as an integrated safety program; SmartDrive Assurance, with only a road-facing camera, and SmartDrive Assurance 360, with deployment of up to four cameras. The last option is currently in field testing, the company said.
