Li Tong Teams With Microsoft on Trade-In Platform in Hong Kong
According to the two companies, the program is Hong Kong's first all-online trade-in service for electronics products. The process begins when the consumer registers the product to be traded in. It is then picked up by a courier and delivered to a facility where its condition is tested. Based on that testing, Li Tong staff activates the coupon on the program's system, which is e-mailed to the consumer for use toward any purchase at Microsoft's online store. Li Tong Group provides reverse supply-chain management services to original equipment manufacturers, companies, government and consumers for the reuse, remanufacture and recovery of high-tech products and components, including mobile devices, smart devices, big-data networks and telecommunications equipment. Li Tong currently maintains a global network of 21 wholly owned facilities, serving more than 100 customers.
