The new initiative combines the company's analytical capabilities into a new product portfolio, which is intended to help customers make better-informed trading and business decisions. Platts Analytics helps producers, analysts and traders across global commodities markets to create more sophisticated scenario models, the company said. They can better decide when to invest or divest, while assessing the impact of policy, technology and economic trends on market prices and commodity asset values.
