IAG Cargo Adds Widebody Service Between Heathrow, Tel Aviv
December 29, 2015
The carrier is replacing its remaining Airbus A321 with Boeing 777-200s, which will operate twice daily. It will now be offering daily lift capacity of 29 metric tons, a 72-percent increase over the summer of 2015. IAG said the upgrade should prove especially beneficial to Israel’s fast-growing time- and temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals sector. IAG Cargo was created following the merger of British Airways World Cargo and Iberia Cargo in April of 2011. It covers more than 350 destinations.
