Infor Issues SCE Update; Partners With Predictix
The software combines warehouse management, transportation execution, third-party logistics billing and labor management in a single application. According to Infor, it was designed to help users optimize inventory, warehouse space and labor within the warehouse, while streamlining supply-chain processes. The tool is available to users as an on-premise or cloud deployment. Features of the new version include dynamic slotting tailored for retail and omnichannel fulfillment, enhanced inbound quality control, support for new HTML5-based Web RF UI, new industry and role-specific dashboards, and extensibility options to personalize the user experience. In another company announcement, Infor has entered into a strategic partnership with Predictix, a provider of cloud-native analytics tools for retailers. Infor has invested $25m in Predictix for a minority stake in the company. Under the agreement, Infor will resell Predictix applications to customers as a part of Infor CloudSuite Retail. Predictix customers will be able to draw on the expertise of Infor’s Hook & Loop creative agency in creating user experiences. The partners will also use the LogicBlox Platform to build cloud-native predictive and prescriptive applications for the broader Infor applications portfolio.
