JDA Unveils Retail-Planning Tool; New WMS Capabilities

Retail.me is the first JDA SaaS application to be built on the Google Cloud Platform, and results from JDA's strategic collaboration with Google, the company said. Retail.me offers "low-touch" machine-learning algorithms pioneered by JDA Labs. It was designed to aid in merchandise financial planning, assortments, promotions, inventory investment and inventory placement. In a related announcement, JDA has made enhancements to JDA Warehouse Management, part of the JDA Intelligent Fulfillment suite. The tool now includes expanded user experiences, extending beyond managerial and supervisory roles to operational and functional tasks; a fully mobile-enacted framework, and key enhancements to JDA Configuration Manager.
