The electronic payment tool is delivered through the Ariba Network, allowing companies of all sizes to manage B2B payments. The deal combines First Data's global-payments infrastructure with the insights and information-sharing capabilities of the Ariba Network. According to the partners, buyers and sellers can exchange purchase orders, invoices and payments; lower processing costs; receive improved remittance advice; reduce fraud risk; track and trace transactions, and speed reconciliation and dispute resolution.
