The new entity will be called TRAC Interstar LLC. According to TRAC, the combined operations creates one of the largest nationwide vendor networks in North America. It will offer round-the-clock breakdown services covering chassis, trucks and trailers. A call center in Florence, KY uses proprietary software to manage each customer event, locate the closest available Interstar repair technician, and manage the repair process from start to finish. TRAC Intermodal is a chassis-pool management company and intermodal equipment provider. It offers short-term rentals through its chassis pool network, as well as long-term chassis leasing and pool and fleet management through its proprietary PoolStat information-management system.
