Dematic Issues Automated Systems for Retailers, Wholesalers

Each product can be configured for low, mid or high-rate applications. They address issues related to omnichannel retailing such as order-fulfillment costs, variable order volume, SKU proliferation, order-processing accuracy and inventory visibility. Within Dematic's warehouse execution system, a new software configuration offers "on-demand" order-fulfillment capabilities. The linear pick system is available in a pre-engineered kit for the building of split-case orders. Other features of Dematic's new release include a batch pick-to-sorter, and automated storage with goods-to-person workstations.
