The automated modeling and simulation tool helps to optimize supply-chain performance and total cost to serve. It compares actual and simulated networks, cost and parameters. In the process, the vendor said, it helps to speed up supply-chain decision-making by identifying the scenario offering the most relevant business benefits. Gold Flow Optimization employs "what-if" scenarios that simulate supply-chain, transportation, logistics, inventory planning and channel costs. It features a product flow map that is automatically populated based on actual inventory movements between network nodes. Business scenarios addressed by the tool include network design and optimization, cost-to-serve calculation and optimization, best goods flow and sourcing, private labels best sourcing, gray market opportunity assessment, best logistics constraints and forecasting, replenishment and fulfillment optimization.
