Jump Technologies Releases New Software Module for Medical

The tool supports improved visibility, predictability, automation and accuracy in inventory management, Jump Technologies said. It uses simple interfaces to connect JumpStock with a hospital's OR scheduling and physician preference card systems, integrating on-hand and on-order inventory and safety stock with scheduled procedures. The module helps to build accurate supply forecasts needed for one OR suite, multiple suites or an entire organization, within a specified time period. In a few clicks, an OR team member can order required supplies based on a forecast. The tool also enhances visibility to usage and cost via a post-procedure Cost of Supply report, which provides a detailed view of every item used.
