FourKites' Tracking Platform Now Available With Oracle Transportation Management

FourKites, a Gold-level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork, is integrated with more than 45 providers of electronic logging devices (ELDs) for the trucking industry. In addition, FourKites has developed proprietary smartphone apps and "app-less" tracking technology using cell tower triangulation, for trucks that have yet to install ELDs. FourKites tracks truck locations every 15 minutes; recalculates estimated times of arrival through real-time location, traffic and weather data, and automates arrivals and departures through geo-fencing technologies. OTM customers can send shipment data to FourKites and access tracking and exception-management data generated by FourKites within OTM.
