Hack The Box Releases AI-Powered TTX for Cybersecurity Incidents

Cybersecurity company Hack The Box has launched a tabletop exercise (TTX) for its online training platform, that uses an artificial intelligence model to create an unlimited series of practice simulations for a potential crisis scenario. 

Dubbed "Crisis Control," the TTX tracks and analyzes past cyber incidents using public historical data, and then tailors scenarios to specific cybersecurity concerns to build out a simulation for employees to participate in. After the exercise, Crisis Control provides an analysis of the exercise, laying out potential future strategies and offering performance evaluations for participants.

“As the global threat landscape continues to evolve, preparedness, and consistency in response to a cybersecurity incident, is essential for every employee — from interns to the CEO," Hack The Box founder Haris Pylarinos said. "Tabletop exercises have the potential to deliver a hands-on approach to building these critical cybersecurity skills."
