Cadec Issues Mobius Insight to Help Truck Fleets Monitor Operations

Cadec Global, a provider of fleet-management software, has released Mobius Insight, an add-on to the company's Mobius TTS application. The product supplies intelligence that helps truck fleets to monitor driver behavior, improve safety and reduce costs, Cadec said. Mobius Insight includes pre-configured dashboards in the areas of safety, customer service, compliance, maintenance and cost. All information is collected using Cadec's On-Board Computers (OBCs) and DeliveryTracker software. Dozens of dashboard views are available, Cadec said, including safety scorecards for drivers. Real-time alerts can be automatically sent to managers, customers and drivers via text messages and email. Speed-by-road-segment, along with other selected trip exceptions, can be animated using an optional, virtual ride-along mapping component. Mobius Insight was developed in partnership with Blue Sky Technologies, Inc., a vendor of supply-chain visibility software. Other new additions to Mobius TTS 4.0 include built-in mapping software; enhanced security features, including WPA2 encryption, and the ability to look up customer account information from the Cadec OBC.
