How Trucking Can Stand Out in Today's Cargo Market

Security regulations, looming tax initiatives, fuel price volatility and air cargo lift capacity after DHL Express's departure from the U.S. market, lead the list of concerns of many trucking company officials in 2009.
While the near-term domestic and global air cargo forecast is gloomy, there are some bright spots for trucking companies who are likely to gain from the continuing modal shift from air to ground, analysts and trucking officials said.
