Jo-Ann Stores has implemented JDA Software Group's supply chain management solutions to rebalance inventory levels across its stores and distribution centers, enhance store- and DC-level forecast accuracy, increase integration as a result of streamlined space and merchandise planning, and increase exception-management capabilities. Operating in 48 states with annual revenue of $1.9bn, Jo-Ann Stores is the nation's largest specialty fabric retailer, featuring a variety of sewing, crafting and home decorating merchandise. The ability to respond in real time to changes in consumer-buying behavior will also help the retailer improve customer-service levels and positively impact bottom-line results.

The 769-store retailer integrated JDA's demand, demand classification, fulfillment and order optimization solutions with its existing ERP system.
