Outlook for Retail Same Store Sales Growth Improves

For the fourth month in a row, 27 retailers tracked by ForecastIQ show improved forecasts for same-store sales, with 18 now expecting growth. Indicators show the recovery is broadening, but the consumer mindset is still fragile with about 30 percent confident/very confident in the chances for a strong economy, suggesting that retailers still should tread lightly.
