Flash Global Enables Automated Export Compliance

May 20, 2010

Flash Global, a provider of tools for handling critical parts and products, has initiated an Export Compliance Service integrated with FLASHTRAC, its real-time, Web-based order and inventory management system. The offering automates a number of key procedures for critical parts logistics, including denied-party screening, export control classification number, license control checks, commercial invoice preparation and automated export system filing. The integration of Flash's compliance program with FLASHTRAC validates cross-border shipments against denied party lists maintained by the U.S. and most other countries. Flash can also maintain and control the number of parts shipped under a client's specific ECCN license, helping clients to determine license quantities that are becoming low, or are close to expiration. Flash's services include forward and reverse logistics; setup and deployment for the global movement, management and tracking of critical inventory; network modeling and analysis, and global trade management. The company serves high-tech clients in computer data storage and networking, healthcare, communications and electronics.
