Airclic Launches Delivery, Payment Processing Service for Food Distributors

Airclic Inc., a vendor of software for mobile supply chain and logistics operations, has launched Food Perform, a hosted software application for managing delivery and payment processing in the food distribution industry. Formerly known as 20/20 Delivery for Food Distribution, the new offering aims to improve visibility in the mobile supply chain, eliminate paperwork and remove manual data-entry processes. Users can manage over, short and damaged (OSD) items as well as process payments in the field. Features include real-time operational reports, graphical dashboards with map views of business operations, load confirmation, and "partial credit" and weight adjustment for catch weighted items. Food Perform connects drivers via mobile devices to operations staff in the back office, allowing for the cost-efficient transfer of perishable products, the vendor said.
