American Airlines Cargo has launched direct services between Shanghai and Los Angeles, and between Budapest, Hungary and New York. The carrier is also resuming seasonal service between Dublin, Ireland and Chicago. It said the new routes will improve support for customers shipping a variety of commodities, including electronics from China, auto parts from Hungary and pharmaceuticals from Ireland, with key connections throughout the U.S. and Latin America. The Los Angeles-Shanghai service utilizes B-777 aircraft, while the Budapest-New York and Chicago-Dublin routes rely on B-767s. AA Cargo serves more than 250 cities in some 50 countries, with more than 3,600 daily flights by 900 aircraft.
