The ECS Group has opened two new offices in Vietnam, in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Both are operating under the name of Globe Air Cargo Vietnam. Acting on behalf of its launch customer, Jade Cargo, Globe Air Cargo will market capacity on the airline's twice-weekly Boeing 747-400 freighters. The services operate into Vietnam from China and carry on to India, Dubai and Amsterdam. Globe Air Cargo will be responsible for filling Hanoi's 50-percent share of the aircraft's capacity. Globe Air Cargo also will represent Brussels Airlines and Ukraine International Airlines in Vietnam. The company said it has plans for further expansion of operations within Vietnam and the Mekong River Delta area.
