Kane added, "It's important to continue to grow the company the 'Gene Kane way,'" referring to his father, "taking care of our customers by providing exceptional service wrapped in a culture of honesty, integrity, and treating customers like family. Gene Kane set the wheels in motion for the new Board structure, which will be an important and lasting part of his powerful legacy."

He took a two-truck operation, added supply chain services like warehousing, distribution, and packaging, and transformed KANE from a regional trucking company into a national third-party logistics provider with more than 1,000 tractors and trailers and 8.5 million square feet of distribution center space across the country.
