Wallenborn Group, with its affiliate Haugsted AirCargo Services, has opened an office at Stockholm, Sweden's Arlanda Airport. Haugsted, a specialist in air cargo ground services in the Nordic region, is a wholly owned affiliate of Wallenborn, which provides pan-European road transport services. The new office, located in the Spirit Air Cargo Handling terminal at Arlanda Airport, will coordinate services across Sweden on behalf of airlines, freight forwarders and cargo GSAs. It is Haugsted's fourth office, joining locations in Billund, Copenhagen and Oslo. Haugsted has experienced strong growth in Sweden in the past two years, according to branch manager Peter Nygaard. Wallenborn has a combined fleet of more than 550 vehicles with 10 service centers in nine countries. It plans to add three countries to its network in 2011.
