time:matters, a specialist in expedited logistics, has expanded its same-day air station network to include Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ) in Spain. Shippers can now obtain direct connections for urgent shipments from the airport, including daily Spanair flights to Madrid or Barcelona. Santiago de Compostela is the 12th same-day air station to be established by time:matters in Spain. Other locations in the country include Valencia, Madrid and Vigo. The provider's network currently includes 102 stations and 24 partner airlines throughout Europe. The expansion allows time:matters to connect Spain's Galicia region to all key European airports. It is expected to be of particular benefit to the life and health sector, which has a strong presence throughout the area surrounding Santiago de Compostela, according to time:matters. The company, which offers space on more than 3,000 flights a day to 500 destinations in 90 countries, is part of the Lufthansa Group.
