Industrial Data and Information, Inc. (IDII) has published Edition 5 of its Glossary of Supply Chain Terminology. Aimed at business, purchasing, manufacturing, warehousing and technology professionals, the resource is available both in print and electronic book formats. It explains numerous keywords, acronyms and other words utilized in various parts of the supply chain, including inventory management, logistics, warehousing, transportation, manufacturing and software development. Edition 5 has twice the content of the prior edition, IDII said. The main glossary includes terminology spanning 24 topics of interest to the supply-chain professional.
