People who think China's outsourcing business will replicate that of India are only partly correct. It is very hard for a country to match the success that India has had in the short term. Part of the problem is expectations. The India offshore phenomenon was 20 years in the making. China will play an offshore role given its size and government commitment, but it will take a while.
