The GAC Group has added fast-track customs-clearance technology and dedicated staff to its "one-stop" logistics service between India and South Africa. Based in Dubai, GAC is a global provider of shipping, logistics and marine services. It said the India-South Africa trade lane is growing in importance in a number of sectors, especially the oil and gas and bulk minerals industry. The company currently has four offices in South Africa, operating under the name of GAC Laser International Logistics. It plans to add three offices over the next two years. In addition, GAC has more than 26 offices throughout India. The initiative is part of the company's long-term plan to expand its global network, GAC said.
