CEVA Logistics has expanded its less-than-containerload (LCL) consolidation offering with the addition of a service from Hamburg to New York. According to the company, the new service will improve transit times from Germany to the U.S., with delivery from Hamburg to New York in 11 days. In addition, CEVA said, the offering gives customers on that route a choice among LCL, full containerload and breakbulk options. The LCL service offers inland points intermodal (IPI) connectivity to 77 locations within the U.S. Door deliveries can also be made through CEVA's dedicated driver and trucking network. CEVA is a non-asset-based logistics services provider. Additional services launched by the company in recent months include LCL consolidation from Busan, South Korea to Toronto, Ont., and from Kaohsiung, Taiwan to Chicago.
