Supply Chain Council (SCC, www.supply-chain.org), a global nonprofit management association, will hold two of its annual events simultaneously, enabling attendees to benefit from additional informative seminars while reducing travel costs. By combining the SCC Global User Meeting with Supply Chain World North America attendees can access the latest Council updates and subsequently gain insight on supply industry trends and practices as presented by experienced supply chain professionals. The high-level supply chain conference will take place 2-4 April in Miami, Florida.
SCC draws on the strength and knowledge of its global membership to develop conference content. The first day will focus on developments concerning the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCORÃ') model and advancement and integration of related frameworks. It will also include interactive workshop sessions on several concurrent topics related to framework development. This day will also include the presentation of the global winner of the SCC Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
The conference segment, Supply Chain World North America, will expand to supply chain topics beyond the SCC frameworks into areas requested by supply chain professionals. The theme will be Taking Supply Chains to the Next Level -A Shift to Integrative Thinking. Topics of focus will include customer delight, operational excellence, people, and resilience.
Don Wirth, Vice President, Corporate Supply Chains at DuPont will keynote for Supply Chain World North America. Mr. Wirth's extensive supply chain experience with a global company that depends on its supply chain strength for success will be key to kicking off a conference packed with high-level experience to share.
