CaroTrans International, a non-vessel operating common carrier, has begun a less-than-containerload (LCL) service between Los Angeles and Vietnam. Provided in partnership with CaroTrans's Vietnamese NVO partner Seahorse Shipping, the service offers an 18-day transit from port to port. Export customers in the U.S. will be supported by a network of wholly owned and operated CaroTrans offices and freight receiving stations. The new Ho Chi Minh service augments the company's LCL import service from Vietnam to the Los Angeles gateway, launched in July of 2011. CaroTrans provides global LCL and full containerload services through a network of offices and local partners in Asia, South America, Oceania and the U.S.
