Answerthink Inc., a business and technology consulting firm, has entered into a strategic alliance with Lorenz Life Sciences Group, for the distribution of Lorenz products in North America. The two companies will serve mid-sized customers by integrating best-practice submissions management services into Answerthink's life science products based on SAP AG technology. Answerthink's pre-configured EzLifeSciences products are geared toward helping mid-sized companies streamline new-product development, automate manufacturing reporting, and meet regulatory compliance requirements. Lorenz's offerings are geared specifically for submission, assembly, review, publishing, validation and management for regulated environments in the life sciences sector. The company also helps to support the U.S. Food & Drug Administration's mandate to submit data electronically by the end of 2007. In a related development, Answerthink has entered into an alliance with Paymetric, Inc. for the distribution of industry-specific payment card software for companies running SAP applications. Together the partners will integrate payment-card capabilities into Answerthink's implementation services for SAP applications.
