LogFire, a vendor of supply-chain software delivered via the cloud, has introduced two additions to its warehouse management system (WMS): the LogFire Productivity Tracking System for labor management, and the LogFire Supply Chain Analytics Dashboard. The tracking system provides managers with visibility to all areas of the warehouse. It measures productivity at the warehouse, within each functional area and for individual employees, against key performance indicators. It also tracks supplemental activities outside the WMS. The dashboard is a customizable reporting tool which provides real-time visibility into overall supply-chain performance. A data model based on electronic data interchange technology enables easy integration and data extraction from other systems, according to LogFire. Real-time alerting is available for such activities as inventory thresholds, failed replenishment and inventory shorts. Users can monitor daily operations in real time while analyzing aggregated information from multiple systems.
